Darke Engineering have recently completed a full EPC contract for the construction of a new 300 MW Open Cycle Gas Turbine Expansion Project at Spalding.
The project included the construction of a 70 bar gas pipeline and GRF, including gas filtering, metering, 2-stage heating and gas analysis, connecting to the National Grid Transmission system.
Included in the works was a trenchless road crossing, requiring temporary works for earthworks support to launch and receive pits which were approximately 6.0m deep.
