As an approved contractor for the Oil & Pipelines Agency on their GPSS Section 16 works, Darke Engineering were contracted to expose, test, re-wrap and install a protection slab on a section of pipeline.
The works were required as the proposed access road for a new wind farm was being constructed over the pipeline. The main contractor Farrans also contracted Darke Engineering to lay their communication ducts under the slab.
